Kit with everything essential to build a chod rig!
The Naked Chod Rig attached directly to the main line is extremely effective, especially if you don't want to disturb the fish already present in the area but you're not sure whether the bed is clean: this rig allows you to present the bait in such a way that the carp can take the bait even if it falls on the weed.
Less conspicuous than a leader rig, it is perfect when the use of leaders is prohibited.
The Naked Chod Safety System is a simple yet ideal solution for creating such a rig and contains all the necessary hardware except a size 11 Ring Swivel and QC Ring Swivel.
Inside you will find a Rubber Barrel Bead, to be attached near the bait, and the Ring Swivel, which should be positioned between the Rubber Barrel Bead and the Chod Sleeve.
Both components are supplied on a guide wire that will allow you to easily thread them onto the line, to which they will fix while remaining at the height at which you position them (based on the type of seabed you are fishing on).
If a stiff plastic No Trace Bead is added to the line the Ring Swivel cannot slip past the Chod Sleeve.
If the main line breaks before the Chod Sleeve, the No Trace Bead (which features a side opening) easily detaches from the line, also freeing the Ring Swivel and leaving only the hookbait available to the fish.
The Naked Chod Safety System includes: 3 x Chod Sleeve, 3 x Barrel Bead and 12 x No Trace Bead.
No Trace Beads are also sold separately in packs of 25.
