CLONES POP UPS - 13 MM TIGER NUT are the new pop ups from Mainline available in 13 mm diameter.
Mainline Clones have been designed to provide you with a durable hookbait for fishing over a bed of grain that will match both in colour and flavour.
The main purpose of Clones is, as the name suggests, to ‘clone’ whatever grain or spod mix you are baiting with and replicate it into a groundbait that is much more practical to use than the grain itself.
This is because some grains are too small or too soft to be effectively used on rigs, and certainly if you want to be sure that the hookbait will stay on the hair and work as it should for extended periods of time - an example is sweetcorn.
Clones are available in four different types/flavours, in 13mm pop-ups or 10mm x 14mm wafters, and although primarily designed for use on grain, they have also proven very effective in all fishing situations in testing.
Tiger Nut:
There's no denying that carp love tigernuts! Their crunchy, sticky sugars are released once prepared, and this bait has a unique nutty flavor.
Tiger Nut Clones pop-ups and wafters are off-white in color with darker spots and have a distinct tiger flavor.
Perfect for fishing on whole or crushed tiger nuts (like the Power Particle Nut Crush) or on a groundbait bed where the use of tiger nuts is prohibited.
