The Basia Surf was designed precisely for this purpose and fully represents the construction excellence of Daiwa reels Made in Japan.
Equipped with 7 ball bearings, 5 of which with anti-corrosion CRBB technology ( Daiwa patent), the body is made of the innovative Zaion carbon-based material, while the rotor is made of the tried and tested DS5 composite. The Basia, like all high-end surf reels, features Magsealed body protection technology: a membrane of magnetized oil protects the internal mechanisms from external agents, improving the reel's reliability and longevity.
The clutch, with an extraordinary power of 15kg, is of the Quick Drag type: a technology that allows you to instantly switch from free mode to the desired brake.
