BASIX MINI STOW are visual indicators with notable sensitivity, available in different colours.
This is a smaller version of the famous Stow bite indicators, developed on the shores of Lake Elstow and used by many Korda team members for years. The principle behind this indicator is that it can be used with both taut and slack line, and when a strike occurs, the line releases from the clip on the side. For this to happen, the stainless steel chain it is mounted on must be the same length as your bite alarm, and a detachable connector system allows you to easily adjust it to fit any bite alarm (it is set to the correct length for use with a Delkim or other similarly sized bite alarm). It comes with a stainless steel weight, but 6g and 8g weights can also be used, sold separately as part of the Stow range. The Basix Mini Stow can be fitted with a Mini Isotope (available in seven different colours), which is mounted under the bite alarm using a hockey stick-style holder into which the steel ball chain is screwed. It is available in red, green or blue.
