Marker Elastic is the perfect solution to help you tie a stop knot on your line at the correct distance you are fishing, without using distance sticks!
Once you have found a good position in your chosen location, it makes sense to mark the distance on your line so you can quickly and easily cast again to the exact spot without having to rewind the rod the necessary distance.
Make sure the knot lines up with a rod ring above the spigot rather than next to the line clip, so that after the cast it is to the right of the bite alarm and can't get snagged when the fish bites, and not too close to the other side of the bite alarm so as not to prevent the rod from pulling back when it needs to!
When cast back to the chosen location, the stop knot should always end in more or less the same place if the landing was accurate and the clip was hit correctly.
The Marker Elastic is soft enough not to damage the fishing line and can be easily removed to change the desired point.
With this product you will always be guaranteed that the knot will remain in place until it is removed and if it is tied well and sufficiently wet it will have a great grip on any monofilament line.
Performance is slightly lower with braided line but still sufficient.
However, it can slip during a fight, in which case it is best to control it with a distance stick.
Bright green in color for easy identification at night, Marker Elastic comes on spools of the same color designed to prevent more material from being unraveled than necessary and are easily visible even if placed on the ground while tying the stopper knot.
