Tip Safe Neoprene Rod Protectors are designed to protect your rod during transport!
After disassembling the rod, the protector fits perfectly on both ends of the spigot to prevent them from getting scratched or chipped.
The Tip Safe keeps spigots clean and prevents mud and sand splashes from building up in the spigot during transport.
Neoprene, which absorbs shock and protects the ends of the spigots, is extremely elastic and this is why Tip Safe is available in a one-size-fits-all size that will not fall off and will keep the two sections close together.
In addition to the protector, the package contains another piece of neoprene to be placed at the other end of the rod to hold the butt end and the tip together.
Again, the elasticity of the material allows it to adapt to any rod and is held in place thanks to a Velcro strap.
