The first indication system designed to embrace modern carp fishing, the Siren R4 sets the new standard for accurate and responsive indication, whether you're fishing a busy English lake or a large European lake. Never before have so many advanced features been packed into a single bite indicator.
Taking Kevin Nash's market-leading, unique "speed difference" concept from the R3, the R4 delivers levels of control and functionality that put the angler in direct contact with their rig on the lakebed like never before. Intelligent Sensing has just gotten smarter.
SENSITIVITY
Essentially, the R4 will respond to any type of carp indication in any environment. The detail of the available sensitivity settings isn't as important as the end result. Even if rod tips move due to weed buildup or wave action across thousands of hectares of water, the R4 will tell you everything you need to know without you having to do anything. Never before has an alarm been able to filter out unwanted events that cause false alarms.
Roller Wheel Sensing - Wheel Sensitivity
The R4's factory setting is standard line tracking via the dial. Although replaced by Speed Sensing, it also has specific applications for winter ice.
Speed Sensing – Speed detection
Two speed detection levels that respond faster to line movement at 1cm and 2cm per second respectively, eliminating false indications. Both settings feature the innovative Drift Sensing Safeguard.
Wave Sensing – Wave Detection
Two additional sensitivity settings feature Wave Sensing technology to eliminate false indications caused by waves or when fishing from above the boat. Events are detected with quick movements of 1cm or 2cm per second and after 15 or 30cm of back and forth movement of the wheel. Both detection settings also feature SafeGuard Drift Sensing functionality.
Drift Sensing Safeguard
Also exclusive, the R4's Drift Sensing Safeguard protects against the rare possibility of line slipping off the spool due to, for example, weed build-up on the line, when pressure and line movement are not enough to activate the Speed Sensing system.
Drop Back Sensing – Detecting when the line is lowered
All sensitivity settings on the R4 feature a line drop alert, with a decreasing tone to differentiate it from the start tone.
Guiding Light
The unique “homecoming” mode is the R4’s key feature, designed specifically for boat anglers, featuring an LED on the rear of the alarm which, when illuminated, provides a reference point for navigating back to shore during night-time hours.
Night Glo
To complement the launch of the revolutionary R4 alarms, the new range of Night Glo indicators attach directly to the R4 alarms to illuminate the Night Glo Bobbin or Swing Arm head with LEDs whenever the alarm emits a flash. The indicator bodies match the LED color options of the R4 alarms, with an additional option for black indicators with a white LED light.

CONTROL UNIT
The R4 control unit delivers accurate, high-power remote performance at distances greater than 750 meters, with exact tone replication and exact LED color replication from each programmed R4 beacon.
The unique “homecoming” mode is the R4’s key feature, designed specifically for boat anglers, featuring an LED on the rear of the alarm which, when illuminated, provides a reference point for navigating back to shore during night-time hours.
The R4 control unit allows you to select and illuminate the rear LEDs on an alarm as a directional guide, or to illuminate all the rear LEDs on the R4s simultaneously, showing exactly where your rods are positioned, aiding safe line navigation—a common hazard when returning from a drop or a fight. In most cases, the function is a great practical help, but in extreme weather conditions, such as fog, strong winds, and pouring rain, when disorientation is easy during a fight, it's a safety feature that sets the R4 apart.
Using the same signal strength between the beacons and the control unit, the rear LED function can be activated from up to 750 metres to illuminate the beacons, guiding you to the correct bank.

WARRANTY EXTENSION
Your siren will have a unique 7-character code inside the battery compartment. You'll need this serial number to register your siren.
REGISTER YOUR SIREN R4 AND EXTEND THE WARRANTY TO 24 MONTHS
Each R4 detector and control unit, whether single or in sets 2, 3 or 4, must be registered with its own serial code.
