Belachan Powder 250g is a fermented shrimp extract.

Properties of Belachan powder:

  • Fine, grey, 100% natural fermented shrimp powder.
  • Excellent for adding a deep shellfish flavor to baits
  • Adds a naturally rich, pungent, spicy fishy aroma
  • Perhaps the best kept secret ingredient/attractant in carp bait
  • Cannot be over-included, but recommended up to 5%
  • Use in boilie mixes, pastes, bag mixes and to enhance particles
  • Excellent for powder coating boilies with Liquid Belachan Compound
  • Good solubility in cold water, approx. 4.5% oil, 43% protein
  • Superb year-round additive in carp and barbel baits
  • Animal by-product Category 3, shrimp origin.

Suggestion for use:

To add a deep, salty flavour to any bait item, simply cover the bait in Liquid Belachan Compound, then sprinkle Belachan Powder and shake until all the bait is covered, then let dry and repeat if necessary.
