New Sonubaits groundbait from the So Natural range!
Designed by Des Shipp and Lee Kerry, this dark blend is heavily based on hemp and coriander, two of the best ingredients for catching bleak.
It contains finely ground hemp seeds and also a coarser part to give consistency to the mixture.
It is therefore ideal for summer, or for winter, where a finer mixture may be needed: in this case, the coarser part can be sieved away.
Coriander is also one of the most effective ingredients for bleak.
Preparation instructions:
So Natural Black Roach is easy to prepare. Pour the contents of the bag into a round mixing bucket, fill a one-liter container (such as a maggot tray) with water, and pour it over the groundbait, then mix well. Let it sit for 30 minutes; during this time, the water will be absorbed by the groundbait.
For best results, pass the groundbait through a sieve to remove any lumps and achieve a uniform consistency. It's now ready to use.
Alternatively, you can use a drill with a mixing paddle, which is now the preferred method for many of our consultants.
While fishing, sun and wind can dry out the groundbait slightly: to avoid this, you can cover it with a damp cloth or, if it dries out, simply add a little water and mix again.
