Natural Black Lake is a very versatile groundbait that can be used on the pole or on the feeder.
When freshly mixed, the groundbait and its particles flow out of the feeder easily creating a good groundbait bed with the inclusion of plenty of hemp, coco and coriander; this is the perfect combination for natural lakes.
This black version is perfect for lighter environments or when used to darken a mix.
Lee Kerry (England International) says: " So Natural Black Lake and Lake are two of the most versatile baits I use, it's my first choice for fishing natural venues. It's perfect for fishing down to about 6 feet deep, if I have to tackle deeper water I tend to mix it with So Natural River and earth to make it heavier and tie it more securely. "
Mixing Instructions:
So Natural Black Lake is simple to mix: empty the 1kg bag of groundbait into a round bucket, fill a 1 litre maggot tub with water, pour it over the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then leave it to stand for 30 minutes, during which time the water will be absorbed into the groundbait.
So, for best results, sift the groundbait to eliminate any lumps and create a uniform consistency, and it's ready to use.
When fishing, the sun and wind can dry out the groundbait a little. To counteract this, you can cover the groundbait with a damp towel, or if it dries out, simply add a little more water and mix again.
