The latest addition to our market-leading Match Method Mix range, Match Method Marine is based on our #1 best-selling groundbait mix with the addition of premium marine halibut blends. When mixed, Match Method Marine falls somewhere between "Original" and "Dark" in color, while the overall properties remain similar with the added fishy flavor of Marine Halibut, making it a perfect all-purpose mix, ideal for use with a float or feeder.
Mixing instructions
The mix is simple to mix. Empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket, fill a 2-pint tub with water, pour it over the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then leave it to stand for 30 minutes, during which time the water will be absorbed by the groundbait. Then, for best results, pass the groundbait through a sieve to eliminate any lumps and create a smooth consistency, and it's ready to use.
When sun and wind can dry out your groundbait a little, you can combat this by covering your mixed groundbait with a damp towel or placing it in one of our used 17-litre buckets along with a bucket cover.
