Casein is extracted, on an industrial scale, from heated skimmed milk and acidified with sulfuric acid.
Casein is ideal for improving the nutritional value of the bait, in case you don't want to stick to the old standard fishmeal.
Casein, with its elasticity, helps to bind and easily absorb moisture.
It arrived in the 80s and 90s from England where it was and still is immensely popular.
It is a permanent ingredient in English mixes called High Protein (HP) and High Nutritiv (HVN).
Casein can still provide pleasant surprises.
Dosage: 2.5-10%.
