This product incorporates the No-Trace System and allows you to create a completely safe setup for use on leadcore and other similar diameter leaders, such as those from the Dark Matter range!
If the line breaks above the leader knot, with this system the terminal tackle can easily free itself from the leader, leaving the fish only with your tracks without continuing to drag the leader or, even worse, the lead.
Even with the most secure leadcore helicopter rigs there has always been the risk of weed or debris building up on the knot causing the beads to be unable to move over it, thus freeing the rig.
However, No-Trace Beads solve this problem: as soon as they are released from the cone of the Chod Sleeve, which holds them in place on the leader during casting and normal use, the small hole in the side allows the bead to separate completely from the leader, leaving the size 11 Ring Swivel (not supplied with this system) to sit over any leadcore knot or joint.
On the lead section there is a Barrel Bead that acts as a cushion.
The entire system can be easily fitted to the leader and used for both chod rigs and standard helicopter rigs, such as the Heli-Safe System.
Each Leadcore Chod Safety System contains: 8 Chod Sleeves, 8 Barrel Beads and 12 No-Trace Beads.
Additional spare No-Trace Beads are sold separately.
