LEAD CLIP is a clip for attaching the lead.

The basic rule of the clip system is that the lead ejects before the swivel pulls the lead towards it: one thing is certain: if the line comes off the lead before it snags, the carp will be able to rise to the surface, allowing you to bring it onto any submerged snags rather than drag it through them.
