Featuring the latest long distance casting technologies, including Rigid Cast , this incredibly lightweight 14000 sized reel has been specifically designed to maximise rod speed when casting long distances, whilst maintaining smoothness even under high retrieve loads.
With a mid-to-high price point and the list of features contained in the reel the Ultegra XR is a true long distance casting machine, with extreme power when retrieving.
With understated colours, a large spool, a compact Ci4+ composite body, and some of Shimano best distance casting technology, you certainly won’t be short on features if you choose the Ultegra Ci4+ . In use, the low weight is appreciated, especially when pushing the casting range to the limit.
The light weight allows for higher rod speeds, which combined with other long distance technologies, including Rigid Cast, leads to ever-longer casts.
Inside the lightweight CI4+ G FREE body is a combination of HAGANE , X-SHIP , INFINITY DRIVE and SILENT DRIVE gearing which work together to produce smooth, powerful rotation, even under extreme pressure and heavy loads.
Long distance casting is powered by some of Shimano 's leading technologies, including Super Slow 5 Oscillation , Parallel Body and Rigid Cast , which combine to generate greater distance and supreme accuracy.
