AERO TECHNIUM MgS 14000 XTD is a baitrunner reel with front drag.
The Aero Technium MgS is the latest jewel in the Shimano Big Pit series. It is a one-of-a-kind reel, incorporating all the latest and most advanced Shimano technologies; in particular it is a true casting machine. The feature list on this reel is remarkable: every piece of available Shimano technology has been used. A Hagane body, the magnesium frame makes it incredibly light yet extremely strong. Hagane (cold forged) Gearing for maximum strength, Infinity Drive and Silent Drive for increased winding power, smoothness and durability and a one-piece titanium bail arm to always guide the line to the roller and maximise the strength of the bail arm itself. The most notable feature is a 45mm spool with Super Slow 10 line lay system which makes 107 turns of line per oscillation for a virtually perfect cast, achieving greater distance, with more precision; redesigned mechanics to better manage and control all that power exerted during a cast.
