The heart of the TX-5 is a thin Nanosheet carbon blank, reinforced with a 3K weave and incorporating Biofibre for added strength. The addition of ultra-light PacBay Minima guides improves the action and tip recovery speed during casting, ensuring maximum distance. And if that weren't enough, a custom 3K reel seat and a 3K polymer Winn Grip handle complete the rod. What more could we ask for?
The range includes six models to cover all your fishing needs. Two 10' models are designed for small-water or boat fishing and are available in a 3.00 lb or Intensity action. This is the first Intensity action we've made in a 10' length, and although it's short, it can cast a 4 oz lead over 200 meters! There are three 12' models, including the Intensity model, but for the ultimate in long-distance casting, choose the 13' Intensity model and reach distances you've only dreamed of.
