EDGES WIDE GAPE LONG SHANK are carp fishing hooks with a long shank.
The Super Wide Gape Long Shank was developed with the intention of creating the most modern and advanced carp hook, combining key elements from the highest-catching models for use with today's most popular rigs. We started with a long shank, renowned for its sure-gripping properties. We added a slight but wide bend along the shank, finished with an inward-facing eye, ensuring the hook instantly rotates once inside the carp's mouth, positioning itself for the perfect hook set. A wide profile was also necessary, to give the point more of a chance to engage in the fish's mouth. Finally, a super-sharp beaked point ensures that once hooked, the hook stays in place and significantly reduces the chances of it being pulled out. Never before have all these elements been combined in a single carp hook, and the result is devastating! These hooks are perfectly suited to Ronnie/Spinner style rig presentations along with all types of bottom and pop-up presentations.
