CASTING GLOVE STANDARD is a glove suitable for making safe casts.
Since we are known for our casting rods and with Mark Hutchinson and other consultants actively teaching extreme distance casting techniques, it was logical for us to develop a finger stall.
This had to be durable and ensure that it protected the casting finger from the toughest braids, but at the same time soft enough to not compromise the feel of the cast.
After several prototypes, we took them to Parco del Brenta, where it takes quite a while to continue the action! The final prototypes lasted a full week of almost continuous use and were ready for launch.
The design features soft leather on the finger with a breathable mesh material on the back. Lightweight for comfort, it can be used by both the right and left hand.
The standard launch finger features a blue stripe on the back. One with a reflective stripe on the back is also available to help you locate it at night with a headlamp.
Remember to fully lock the drag on the reels before casting to avoid a nasty cut, especially when using braid.
