Incredibly strong Snag Leader monofilament!
As the name suggests (XT stands for extra tough), this monofilament leader material has been designed for extreme situations and is particularly suited to use in steep continental waters where rigs are not cast but rather submerged, to catch large carp.
It's a great option when you can't use braided leaders, like Arma-Kord, or if you prefer more stretch.
XT Snag Leader stands out from the competition for its performance in steep waters where the bottom is thick with vegetation: while braided lines in these situations increase the chances of everything becoming solid, the larger diameter of this material helps ensure the leader passes through the vegetation rather than cutting through it, consequently increasing the bite potential.
You can choose between two different breaking strains: 50 lb/22.6 kg (0.55 mm) and 60 lb/27.2 kg (0.65 mm).
The material is supplied in 100m spools designed to prevent more material from unraveling than is actually necessary: simply wind it directly from the spool while keeping everything taut.
