BASIX HAIR RIGS WIDE GAPE is a pair of ready-to-use terminals .
BASIX Ready Tied Hair Rigs are ready to use straight out of the box—all you need to do is add a bottom bait or wafter and you're good to go! These rigs are assembled using BASIX Coated Hooklink material in camouflage green, with a small stripped section at the BASIX Wide Gape hook to allow movement and increase hooking potential. They feature a soft hair with a small silicone piece to hold it in place on the shank and help prevent tangles, and the hair length has been optimized for the size of the hookbaits you've selected.
Size 8 is designed for 12mm primers, size 6 for 15mm, and size 4 for 18mm.
Each rig comes with multiple Hair Stops and Extenda Stops of different sizes, allowing you to vary the length of the hair and use bait sizes other than those the rig was designed for. At the other end of the BASIX Hair Rig is a loop and a BASIX anti-tangle sleeve to allow quick and easy attachment to a BASIX Lead Clip Leader or BASIX Lead Clip Action Pack (which includes QC swivels).
Supplied in packs of 2. Available in hook sizes 4, 6 and 8 in both barbed and barbless.
