DIMETHYL PROPIOTHETIN DMPT is a powdered additive for the production of boilies.
Use only for indigestible baits. Dimethylpropiotetin (DMPT) is a metabolite of algae. It is a natural sulfur-containing compound (thiobetaine) and is considered the best artificial bait for both freshwater and marine aquatic animals. In several laboratory and field tests, DMPT has proven to be the best appetite stimulant ever tested. DMPT not only stimulates fish to feed, but also acts as a water-soluble hormone-like substance. DMPT is the most effective methyl donor available, improving the ability to cope with the stress associated with catching/transportation. This substance is being used quietly by many bait companies.
Recommended dosage:
In instant attractant baits, use approximately 0.7 - 2.5 g per kg of dry mix.
For soaking/dipping hookbaits and spod mixes, we recommend about 5g per liter of mix. DMPT can be used as an additional attractant along with other additives. This is a highly concentrated ingredient; using less often is better.
Always use gloves, do not taste/ingest or inhale, keep away from eyes and children.
