Korda Kompetition Mono is a high performance monofilament developed to meet the needs of modern anglers looking for maximum reliability, visibility and performance during every fishing session.
Available exclusively from Korda stockists in Europe and not distributed in the UK, this line was born from strong demand from anglers who wanted a highly visible monofilament, without compromising on strength and construction quality.
Crafted with a special fluorescent green color, the Kompetition Mono offers exceptional visibility even in the most challenging light conditions. The bright color makes it easy to see the line's position on the water's surface, whether you're playing a fish on bright days or during nighttime sessions after a recast.
High visibility is a key advantage, even when playing hard-fighting fish in low-light conditions. When the carp changes direction and tends to move sideways ("kiting"), following the line's angle becomes much easier, allowing the angler to better control the fight and avoid obstacles or critical situations.
