DARK MATTER LEADER HELI SAFE is a leader ready with the Heli Safe.
These Dark Matters Leaders incorporate our Heli-Safe system and can be used with any helicopter-type system, whether it's a conventional hook link or a Chod rig. This leader has tungsten sections inside it to ensure it stays locked to the bottom. It also incorporates the Chod Safe system, which ensures the rig can slide off the leader in the event of a break in the main line, and the rig can be easily connected using a quick-release swivel.
The DM Heli-Safe Leader is available in 1m or 50cm lengths. With the longer version, you can move the top bead when fishing silt or weed to ensure optimal presentation. Some lakes now have rules that limit the maximum leader length, in which case the 50cm version is the most suitable... it's also excellent for distance fishing for longer casts.
The other end of this leader has a fused loop, which can be attached to the main line, or to allow the leader to be easily removed; the loop-to-loop method is best. Dark Matter leader material is highly abrasion-resistant, has a breaking strain of 40 lbs, and can be used on any type of bottom, being available in Clear, Weed, or Gravel. Each pack contains one leader.
