COG BOOMS DISTANCE LEAD FLAT PEAR is a system for using COG leads.

An innovative "lead" system for use with COG distance leads, which improves fish-holding performance by utilizing the clip system, increasing the lead's center of gravity. It significantly improves fish self-hooking by placing the system at the base of the lead, in its heaviest part. It is recommended for use on harder and more resistant bottoms, such as sand, gravel, and hard soil. Available in two sizes, depending on the weight of lead you want to use. The Flat Pear version is for flattened pear-shaped COG leads; the Flat Distance version is for elongated COG distance leads.
