Aero Pro landing nets offer an ideal balance of strength, lightness and fish-friendliness, thanks to an anodized aluminum frame, double-mesh anti-snag mesh and different sizes for every fishing situation.
The Aero Pro range of landing net heads has been designed to offer a great combination of practicality and reliability, whilst maintaining high standards of fish welfare.
The net frame is constructed from anodised extruded aluminium, which is strong, durable and lightweight, and will hold its shape in the toughest situations, even when encountering large fish. This is all secured in a high-impact, ultra-strong polycarbonate (ABS) spreader block using a twin-screw attachment for foolproof performance, and finished with a standard 3/8" metal thread. A wide range of sizes are available to cover all situations and preferences. At the smaller end of the scale, the 14" (36cm) is perfect for small canal fishing, the 16" (40cm) and 18" (46cm) are great for larger whitebait or smaller carp, and the larger 20" (50cm) and 22" (56cm) are ideal for larger 'commercial' carp. The diameter of the extruded aluminum frame is the same for all nets, so if you're the type of angler who prefers to use smaller nets for carp fishing, you won't have to sacrifice strength.
The soft, fish-friendly mesh features a two-dimensional design, with a larger 5mm diameter sidewall and a finer 3mm mesh at the bottom, to reduce hook and hair rig snagging while still allowing the net to move quickly through the water during landing. Additional stitching at stress points also minimizes wear. Combine any of the Aero Pro heads with a Shimano Aero handle for the perfect combo.
