This particular feeder has been specifically designed to tackle running waters!
In English “ claw ” means claw, this brand new feeder, directly from the 2017 Preston Innovation catalogue, looks like a normal cage feeder with a completely metal body, one size and 7 different weights, the big novelty is in the two appendages, also metal, which characterise one of the sides.
They can be widened, folded, folded, offset, all to make the positioning of the claw feeder on the bottom absolutely adaptable to any type of situation.
The upper attachment is a wide soft loop which allows the snap hook of the connection swivel to move freely without moving the feeder.
On rivers with muddy and/or sandy beds these two stems can be bent into a cat's claw shape to provide exceptional grip and a stability unknown to other feeders.
The other big new feature is the presence of a second attachment point, a small metal eyelet, where the swivel's snap hook can be attached to obtain exactly the opposite effect.
Where the fishing situation suggests a more or less accentuated drifting of the claw feeder, simply fold the two "claws" towards the body to cancel out its stabilizing effect and also to allow, where productive, small invitations to the line.
