HELICAL POWER FEEDER SPECIAL are feeder rods suitable for long distance fishing.
Our goal with the Helical Power Feeder Special was to produce a rod capable of long-range casting with hybrid carp feeders, but also suitable for long-range bream fishing. During testing, we achieved casts well in excess of 100 meters. The Power Feeder Special is a two-piece rod, allowing us to make the blank thinner and improve the action and curve of the rod.
The blank features a distinctive gloss helical finish and is equipped with a combination of cork and EVA that frames a VSS 16 lock-down reel seat.
The first 30 anti-frap ring makes it easy to use shock leaders. The top and bottom of the handle are finished with artificial cork for added durability, and the butt is embellished with an FSF logo. Each rod comes with three carbon tips suitable for bream and larger carp (2 oz, 3 oz, and 4 oz).
These have larger mid and tip guides for less friction for shock leader knots and to aid in longer casts.
