Black pepper oil is extracted from the pepper bush. The oil is extracted from the sun-dried, unripe fruit. It has a strong, pungent, spicy odor and a watery viscosity. Black pepper is a proven catcher and provides added value. It is a stimulating additive that enhances flavor and can be used year-round, but is best known for its use in cold water. The trapping effect is due to the piperine powder in black pepper.
