New range of carp rods with excellent value for money!
The use of a blend of Hankook and Toray carbons for the butt and tip sections, along with helical ring winding, results in a blank that delivers on the promise of casting and playing with fish while keeping it light and slim.
As with all Free Spirit rods, the finish must be aesthetically attractive and distinct, free of any paint or lacquer to maintain its appearance for many years.
The construction we opted for is very modern with black reel seats and stainless steel guides with black inserts and a thin red tip around the logo.
All rods feature abbreviated handles with size 18 DPS reel seats and black acetyl collars.
There are 5 rods in the range, a 10' 3lb with a 40mm first guide and size 12 anti-frap tip which suits smaller waters, impromptu sessions or when you want to travel light.
There are three 12' rods, the 3lb and 3.25lb are excellent all-rounders and a 3.50lb for long distances or more demanding tasks, all are fitted with guides ranging from 50mm to 16 antifrap.
The 13' is only available in the "SU" version, capable of great distances with an anti-frap tip and scaling from 50mm to 16.
