KAIRIKI 8 STEEL GRAY is a braided line for spool or leader constructed with 8 strands.
Kairiki 8 is Shimano 's new and improved 8-strand braided line, made in Japan and featuring the “VT Construction Method” technology. It is a highly resistant and fluid PE (polyethylene) line, perfect for long casting distances. Available in diameters from 0.06 mm to 0.42 mm, it resists breaking up to 46.7 kg. It is perfect as a main line or even for building rigs as it is very sensitive and particularly fluid, a feature that reduces noise in the water. It will be available in two new high-visibility colors, Yellow and Multicolor, in addition to the classic Mantis Green (green) and Steel Grey (grey). The Multicolor version is very interesting for deep-sea fishing. Thanks to the fluidity of the line and its reduced diameter, Kairiki 8 is excellent as it creates less resistance in the water and is characterized by practically no stretch, less than 3.0%. A quality choice.
