Hard Hookbait Mix is easy to use and allows you to create extremely hard pop-up boilies, balanced boilies or sinking hookbaits that can resist annoying fish and crustaceans.
How to use: Crack one or two medium eggs (90ml). Add your chosen liquids/flavorings and mix. Add the hard hookbait mix, adding it a little at a time until you have a soft, pliable, and slightly sticky paste. Leave the paste in a sealed bag for 30 minutes to absorb the liquids before rolling. Steam. Boiling guidelines: Hard hookbaits: 15mm = 90 seconds, 18mm = 120 seconds. Leave the baits spread out in a dry place to dry for 12-24 hours. Freeze or leave to dry completely for a further 72 hours. To make pop-ups or balanced hookbaits: POP-UP: Take a cork ball and create a 1-2mm thick casing of ready-to-cook mix around the cork ball (e.g. 12mm ball = 15mm pop-up). Cook on low for the following times: 12 mm = 10 seconds, 15 mm = 15 seconds, 18 mm = 20 seconds. BALANCE: Take a cork ball and create a 3-4 mm thick envelope of ready-to-cook mix around the cork ball (for example, an 8 mm cork ball = 15 mm). Cook on low for the following times: 12 mm = 15 seconds, 15 mm = 20 seconds, 18 mm = 25 seconds.
