Wider thread version of the Wide Gape model!
One of the most classic hook patterns, the Wide Gape has led to a huge number of large carp catches over the years since it was introduced.
Based on the traditional and popular classic Maruta Kinryu fork hook pattern, Korda 's reinterpretation has made it easier to use by replacing the fork with an eye.
The Wide Gape boasts a slightly inward-turned eye, a short shank, a hardened bend and a razor-sharp beak-shaped point.
It can be used with a wide variety of pop-up rigs or bottom baits, and once inserted it tends to stay in.
The Wide Gape XX version, even more solid and resistant than the classic model, has been designed for truly extreme circumstances, such as those found with enormous Siamese carp or Mekong catfish in Thailand.
